Yup- Even more Great Glam clothing!

Hey Everyone!

Hope everyone had a great Holiday! I recently got a few hauls in the mail- but I'm currently taking nice pictures of those, and waiting for a few more goodies this week as well, so I can make a huge haul post :-) I'm expecting some items from The Beauty Sampler, Cherry Culture & Allcosmeticswholesale. A few days ago I received my MAC eyeshadow in Blanc Type (Love it as a brow bone highlight) and another Zoom Lash Mascara.

Great Glam has been my addiction for the past 2 months, I'm always buying clothes from them- I recently went shopping to the Mall and realised just how much of a good deal I'm getting at Great Glam, so I'm planning to shop there thru out the year.

Here's some photo's of my most recent purchases- I prefer putting up stock photographs from the website, as they look more accurate :P

More Great Glam!

Hey dolls

Firstly, I want to say Thank you to all my followers! I really never thought I would have a single person read my blog- So Thank You! :)

I received my Great Glam haul yesterday in the mail, and I love everything!
(One item isn't pictured- I originally thought G.G didn't send it to me, but my boyfriend moved the parcel and it just got misplaced luckily! :D
Here's what I purchased <3

UrbanOG Haul!

Hey girlie's :)

So my boots from UrbanOG arrived today, They are so gorgeous! and I purchased them for around $20.00 + shipping.
They'll be great for those cold Winter days, I already have some more practical boots for when we get snow here- so far there's just a lot of rain, wind and pretty freezing temperatures. Perfect weather for the new Starbucks Holiday drinks :)

Here are the boots:

I love them :) and they are super comfortable. I really want to order some more boots, here are a few I'm craving:

Ahh, I Love Winter and the fashion along with it :) now all I need is a shrunken black jacket that's actually warm.

Great Glam Haul and most recent purchases Haul/Review :)

Hi girlies!

I am so sorry for the lack of posts, but I've been super busy the last few weeks- and I finally have some time now to relax and blog :)

I made a ton of purchases this month, however- I didn't take pictures, but I still be reviewing, talking and raving over the things I bought.

Firstly, I made my very first order with Great Glam! I love unique clothing, and great glam has tons of it :) I like to buy mini 'dresses' and pairing them with leggings, heels and accessories- all the items I bought really work with my shape (round booty here! lol) however, I have small upper body like my arms and tummy- and these conform amazingly! I actually made another order last week and will post that haul.

Great Glam offers free shipping to Canada if you buy 4 or more items, which is great IMO because most clothing websites charge quite a bit to deliver here, not to mention the border fee's tagged along with it. Great Glam however uses USPS, so I received my items in my mail box- so no shipping or border fee's! The Package came wrapped up in light pink paper, tied with a ribbon and Thank You note, as well as a Great Glam magnet. All the clothes are well made, and are true to size. I highly suggest ordering with them- and they have new items every week.

I picked these up in Medium- I love them so much, and they are super attention grabbing :)

I picked up my usual bulk order of Lashes from Madame Madeline, and I tried out a new pair. My favorite brand of lashes are Red Cherry- the # 199's are my Holy Grails. I recently purchased the #304 and I adore them! They are a nice change, and l can get way more uses then the #199's- I love both equally :) - I also purchased MAC's Blot Powder in 'Medium Dark' and I adore it! I use it before I apply my MAC Studio Fix Powder, and I'm nice & matte all day (my skin isn't oily anymore, I just like that matte look, with a bit of highlight, blush etc....) I also apply a light layer before I fill in my brows with my brow pencil- to keep them matte all day as well.

Other then that, I also picked up the Revlon Brush on Lash Adhesive- and its awesome! it so much more easier to deal with then Duo Glue, and has the same lasting power. Its similar to the Ardell Brush on Adhesive, but the Revlon doesn't sting my eyes, but its still a great option.

Hope all of you are having a great Winter so far! I ordered some Winter boots from UrbanOG and they arrive tomorrow!

MAC, All Cosmetics Wholesale Haul, and AMI Clubwear Website Review!

Hey Everyone!

My three MAC eyeshadow refills had arrived. I picked up All that Glitters and Naked Lunch because they have such a cult following. It seems like everyone love's these two shadows, so I wanted to try them. I adore Naked Lunch, it looks stunning on the lid, with virtually any color in the crease- or it looks great alone with some liner and lashes (heh :P)

All that glitters is gorgeous to, but for some reason- it really reminds me of MAC's Honey Lust Eyeshadow for some reason. I swear on the lid, they look almost identical. I still do love this color though.

Lastly, there was Rule. A Matte Orange, I picked it up mainly because I was in a Autumn mood =) I still haven't tried it- but cannot wait to. Here's  a picture:

When I arrived home, I checked my my mail and was happy to see my ACW order had arrived.
I have always wanted to purchase MAC brushes from them because they are much cheaper then at a MAC store or MAC online.

I purchased the 191 because I loved Angled brushes for blending out foundation, and this one is great! it works really well with creme and liquid formulations. I also picked up the MAC 217 because its so versatile, I use my first one to highlighter on my face, so I purchase another one for blending all my eyeshadows. I also purchased the Studio Fix Lash mascara- purely out of curiosity, but its not my favorite :( doesn't really sculpt my lower lashes like Zoom Lash.

This is my 6th order with ACW- and as always, great service, shipping and packaging.

I just have a stock photo (and its the wrong color, the one I ordered is blue-with a few other color specks- but its out of stock)
but while I was away I also received my Mini dress/shirt from AMI Clubwear!
I was really looking forward to this because I adore all the clothes they sell. My order arrived in about 7 days, and came with a tracking number :) I also didn't have to pay an Customs (it was a small envelope) ..... The dress I purchased (in size small) fits my body perfectly! it also can be pulled lower so its the perfect length dress, or pulled up a little higher (without bunching!) and looks amazing with leggings and some heels. The only downside was the $20.00 shipping fee- but I still saved 30% off as they where having a sale.

Hope everyone's having a great Fall!

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade!

So I finally got the MSF I have been wanting for such a long time, when MAC released this again- I was so excited to purchase it. It seems like MAC will be releasing some other past favorite MSF's this Winter, as well as two of the Blush Ombre's! Cannot wait to buy some of those :)

Anywho, I want to apologize for the lack of swatches on my blog- my camera isn't the greatest- nor is the weather where I am. Its been raining non-stop for 2 weeks now and since my house has more of a darker decor, I often feel like the swatches I take pictures of do not do the product justice.

Any who, the MSF is so beautiful- it has light veining throughout, and it has a light golden tinge to it. As a highlighter, it is extremely light- meaning that it does take a while to show up. Its a little bit of a let down, but the sheen it gives is very gorgeous- so a little work is no big deal. Enjoy =)

New M.A.C Palette, Eyeshadows, & Hauls!

Hello everyone :)

The one project I wanted to work on was creating my second MAC 15 Pan Palette. The first one I made was a great investment- MAC's eye shadows are amazing, and they last for ages. I tried a few eye shadows from Wet N' Wild and Bitch slap cosmetics this year- and honestly, they do not compare to MAC at all- I still like them, but MAC just has great quality shadows, and there is so much more product. My first Palette was more neutral, whereas my new one will be a mix of brights/neutrals/ and whatever else I want to try.

Here's a peek - (Eye shadows from left to right, top to bottom: Electra, Freshwater, Goldmine, Stars and Rockets, Vibrant Grape, Da Bling, Phloof, and Handwritten)

I actually got the last two eye shadows today (Phloof and Handwritten) All of the E/S where purchased online at MAC- with the exception of Stars & Rockets which I got from ACW (along with MAC's Studio Tech foundation- a new fave!) ...... I have seven more shadows to purchase and I'll be set. I have a few in mind already :)

I recently ordered MAC's fleshpot lipstick which was released with the new Fall Collection. I also ordered the Lightscapade Skinfinish! I'll be getting it next week, and I cannot wait. I have to thank MAC's great online CS, the first one I ordered was backordered :( I then called up MAC's CS to get a tracking number for another order, and the Rep. asked me if I wanted the last Lightscapade & I gladly accepted. She didn't even charge me for shipping :P Another reason why I adore MAC! Here's a picture of Fleshpot; Its similar to Myth lipstick by MAC- but slightly more nude.

About two weeks ago, I received a Haul from All Cosmetics Wholesale. I am really starting to love this site! I purchased MAC's Stars & Rockets Shadow Refill and Studio Tech Foundation and saved quite a bit of money. If I had ordered them thru MAC, I would have paid $20 more because of Tax and the fact that the items would be priced a little higher. I wish ACW had all the MAC shadow refills, but they only have a small selection. I started using Studio Tech right away, and I in love! its the perfect foundation. It blends so well, and work with my concealer and powder- creating a flawless finish. I picked it up in NC15 :) - Both my MAC items came in the regular MAC boxed packaging. I think its great that ACW carries Legitimate MAC items.

(Sorry for the smudge, I was swatching it lol)

Anywho, those where all my Hauls for September :) I also went a Shoe Spree and ordered 5 pairs of shoes from UrbanOG.

They are so cute! I might post pictures in my next post =) & I also ordered a dress from AMI Clubwear (will be doing a website review) Hope all of you are having a great Fall! This is my favorite season, and I've been loving it so far- here's some cute Fall inspired pictures :P (courtesy of Google)

UrbanOG Haul and Website Review!

So, I have a shoe obsession- and when I see all these sites from the USA that carry amazing shoes, I'm tempted to order them- even though shipping is usually high to Canada.

I have only ordered one thing from UrbanOg- a Monikini, and its gorgeous. With Shipping, it came to $30 (not to bad, actually) but the border fee was $25 when UPS arrived at my door. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind paying- but I though if a little bubble-wrap envelope cost that much, then how much duty would I pay for a box of shoes?

So, for ages- I looked at the shoes at UrbanOG and finally last week- ordered a pair for $13.00, with shipping I paid $30.00 (again, fab deal) .....When my parcel was scheduled to arrive today, I was so excited (to get my shoes) and worried that I'd be paying $50 extra for a border fee. I cannot tell you how happy I was when the UPS courier said there was nothing owing for border fee's! I'm planning to order two more pairs from the site next week- and hopefully don't have to pay a border fee. As much as I like Forever21- the shoes are not my style- I just like the boots they come out with in Fall/Winter- but that's about it. I'm planning on getting some heels- and then maybe some boots from UrbanOG. My order arrived in exactly 1 week, and I was provided with a tracking number, so I could keep an eye on when these babies where arriving. I really wish I had ordered shoes form UrbanOG before- I passed up so many shoes that where on sale for sooo cheap!

Here they are :)

Cherry Culture NYX Haul with pictures and swatches!

So surprisingly, my NYX haul arrived 1 week after making the order- that's pretty fast, because it takes about 2 weeks for most of my packages from the USA to get to Canada =)

I made a small haul when Cherry Culture had the recent 20% off sale for Back to School. I have a few Holy Grails from NYX, and I haven't made an order with Cherry Culture in quite awhile. When I first started out in makeup, NYX dominated my makeup collection- now its a mixture of High End and Drugstore products, both ranges of makeup that I love. I thought I would purchase a back up of NYX's eyeshadow in Black- a staple in my everyday routine & the Candy Glitter Liner in Baby Pink (looks super cute on the lower lash line) ......While browsing, I picked up a few more items that looked interesting.

The Eyeshadow in Autumn Sky isn't a blue I would wear often- I like dark blue's on occasion, bit nothing this light. I tried this out and like many of NYX's eyeshadow, it has great pigmentation. The Eyeshadow base is pretty much like NYX's Jumbo Pencil in Milk, just in different packaging & form- I tried this out today and really love it. The round lipstick was another purchase I probably won't use often- the color Harmonica is a super frosty pink- but over my OCC lip tar base, it actually looks really nice. I love the glitter liners from NYX, and I sometimes likes a small swipe of glitter on my lower lash line. Lastly, the HD concealer in Lavender was something I would have never purchased- but the past year I have learned how certain colors can mask things like under eye circles, shadows and blemishes. I purchased this because the review on Makeup Alley was great :) I cannot wait to try this out to brighten up under my eyes.

I also added some pictures below, and a few swatches. Hope you like :)

Product Rave and Review: L'oreal Sublime Glow!

Hey everyone!

So a few days ago I received my False Lashes from Madame Madeline.com and today my MAC package arrived (They had free express shipping, so I had to get something :P) Anywho- I picked up my staple Red Cherry Lashes in #199 and I also tried out two new pairs, and the Ardell 115 lashes. I'm an eyelash whore LOL :) I love huge lashes, my natural lashes are blonde, short and cannot get any volume or length even with an eyelash curler- so when I I first tried out falsies 2 years ago, I was hooked. I tried so many pairs, and finally found my HG's - and they are only $1.99 each online, so I stock up all the time.

I also picked up a backup of my favorite blush by MAC called Cubic- I use this blush all the time, so I've hit pan on my first one and decided to be prepared once its all gone. Its my favorite blushie because it goes with every single eye look, everything from bright to neutral. I have so many MAC blushes, but I pretty much only reach for this- I kinda feel bad for my other MAC blushes, but you never know when might want to wear a bright red blush (I'm looking at you, Bite of an apple! LOL) While browsing the MAC site, I also noticed some items from the Surf, Baby! collection where still floating around, so I decided to pick up the Solar Riche Bronzer. I use MAC's Refined Golden as my contour- Solar Riche has a more pinkish undertone, and no glitter or shimmer (which makes me want to try it as a blush) .....Here are some pictures, and finally some swatches! I found the perfect lighting today, amazingly :)

Product Rave and Review: L'oreal Sublime Glow!

Hello peeps :)

So, I have quite the history with tanning lotion, and it isn't good. Each time I tried a lotion, it would leave my streaky, orange and just a plain Snookified mess :D Anywho- The best lotion I found was Jergens natural glow, as it was gradual and left me with a nice color. However, after repurachasing it a few times- I was left with streaks again, which makes me think they changed the formula.

I don't like my whole body tanned, just my legs. I'm not an avid tanner, and I don't want an exceedingly dark tan because it just doesn't go with my fair skin features- I'm one of those weirdo's that likes her pale NC20-25  skin :P (ok so Im no as fair as the gorgeous Dita Von Teese, but YKWIM-) but So anywho, I like a nice 'tint' as opposed to full on dark tan. I also only like a bit of color in Summer.

I decided that I would try some more expensive tanning products, and I tried St.Tropez and was so excited when I first applied it. I figured it would work wonders because of the strange application method (apply, but don't blend, then shower off) but it left me nothing but horrible streaks, patches and just a strange color. After that, I didn't use a tanning lotion for awhile. Lately though I got bit by the tanning bug again & started researching various Drugstore tanning lotions on Makeupalley- the highest rated drugstore lotion was L'oreal's Sublime Glow Gradual daily moisturizer for medium skin tones, however apparently it had been discontinued. I decided to go shopping and see what was available and just wing it- and what do I see when I get to the Tanning Lotion area? L'oreal's Sublime Glow in in all its Glory =D I grabbed it right away and was so excited to see that they had a ton in stock, so if it worked out I would get 2 more bottles.

I applied this all over my legs after showering, and was surprised by the pleasant Orange Pekoe Tea Scent- no nasty generic self tanner smell with this one. The second day. I had exactly what I wanted a slight tint of color & not a streak in sight or uneven patches. It is now day three, and my legs have a gorgeous even looking tan! There is not an uneven patch in sight- which is amazing to me because all of my bad experiences- and I made sure to check this out in daylight, since thats the best lighting for clarity. The lotion has a slight shimmer to it, which gives your legs & arms a glow right away. My tan isn't super dark, but thats what I want :) and I'll see how this works the next few days.

I really hate reviewing a supposed discontinued product- but I found this at two Canadian stores (Superstore & Wal-Mart) so I think if you search for it, it can be found somewhere- I hope that was a good, in depth review :)

Camera Ready Cosmetics Haul!

Wow, I have really neglected this blog :( I'm so sorry, but I have been so busy! Summer has been so fun and full of activities and weekend outings, so I haven't had much time to take pictures.

I also got a haul from Camera Ready Cosmetics- I received them right before I was going out so I tried both products right away (reviews to come later!) ....I picked up the Cinema Secrets Foundation and Kryolan Camouflage Cream Art. The Cinema secrets foundation is more pink based, while the Kryolan is more yellow. Both have crazy coverage, so a little goes a long way.

Here are some pictures I took my with dinosaur of a camera :-) Again. I couldn't get decent swatches :( I really need to invest in a new camera, but I keep buying makeup, clothing and shoes instead :P Hope you enjoy!

Next I have a drugstore haul coming up. I picked up some fabulous Shampoo and Conditioner I have to rave about, and some Tanning Lotion which (according to Makeupalley) had been discontinued- I'm really happy I found it because it has a 81% repurchase percentage! I'm also waiting for NYX & Madame Madeline Haul in the mail too.

All Cosmetics Wholesale Haul- Urban Decay Palettes!

Hey Dolls :)

I'm sorry for the lack of posting, but I don't know how some bloggers have the time! My weekends are so filled ip with stuff to do with my boyfriend that I never have time to update :( we're always going on day trips, shopping or just relaxing- This weekend we where shopping for furniture for our place :P

Anywho, I was so happy to recieve my Urban Decay Palettes from ACW. This is my third order from ACW, and again- it has arrived in only 2 weeks, and packaged exceedingly well (seriously, I had to break open about 4 layers of bubble wrap!) ....I'll be ordering from them again some time soon.

These are my very first Urban Decay Palettes, and I can see why people love them. The pigmentation is fabulous, they are so soft. They do have a little bit of glitter in them, that can slightly fall down onto your face- but I always do my foundation after my eye makeup, so it isn't a problem to me. I purchased these palettes for $57.00 (this included shipping to Canada) it was an amazing price, considering if I where to purchase these from Sephora I would be paying $107.00 :O

I'm so sorry that my Eyeshadow Hauls don't have swatches, but my camera doesn't do the beautiful colors justice at all. By the time I checked the mail today, it was late- and already a gloomy day...I promise to get some swatches up soon if I can get decent lighting.

I hope you enjoy the pictures!
