Skincare, Haircare and Makeup Haul...

Hey Peeps :)

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I found a lot of great deals while shopping this past weekend. I finally picked up one of the Maybelline Color Tattoos in 'Tough as Taupe'- and now, I want every shade! 'Tough as Taupe' is a great base for darker eyeshadows, or it can be worn alone- and just last night for fun, I decided to use it to fill in my eyebrows- and I have to say, its the perfect undertone for lighter blonde hair! I found that since I dyed my hair lighter, my usual favorite brow pencil looked slightly to dark, this is the perfect color. I set it with MAC's Omega e/s- also, its insanely long lasting. I also picked up the Milani Brow Pencil in 'Natural Taupe' (since I didn't purchase the Color Tattoo with the inention if it being a good brow color) but its very dark, I really wouldn't call it a Taupe color :( I love that I can get a precise line, but the color just isn't working. Lately,  my eyes have been getting a little irriated, and I thought maybe Eyelash Adhesive had turned against me- but I also thought it may have been my eyeliner for my waterline. I use one my L'oreal H.I.P and its still new, but I heard good things about the Revlon Colorstay eyeliner- and I love it :) its not as messy as my L'oreal liner, and my eyes didn't bother me one bit *success* :D

As for Skincare- I'm only 22, but I'm alread prepping my skin so I wont get to many wrinkles in the future. My Mom is 54 and has amazing skin, she always told me she used a nighttime and daytime wrinkle moisturiser- even in her teens. Now, many of these moisturisers ( I find) are super heavy, and leave my skin greasy. I don't mind a heavy night time lotion, but I dont want my day lotion to interfere with my foundation. The Garnier Ultra Lift was on sale for 50% off- and my mom uses Garnier now, and she says the day creams are never to heavy- and she was right. This is the perfect day moisturiser- You only need a little bit, and it leaves your skin feeling fresh and moisturized. I'm glad I found this- and on sale to!

The Roc Toner (or as they call it- 'Cleansing Water') was a random purchase. I have taken a peek at Roc products, but they seem a little overpriced- this was on sale for a steal, so I thought why not. I dont like most toners since they have either to much fragrance, or they are drying. This one has a mild scent, and really refreshes your skin :) My all time favorte toner is Clinique's Clarifying Toner- I really should purchase it again.

I really have no preferences when it comes to what haircare products I use, as long as they're moisturising and will tame fly-aways and leave my hair soft. I never use hairspray, but the Perfect Lengths Hair Spray by Pantene claims to fight humidity. I personally don't like Pantene products- but there where so many things on clearance at Superstore, that I thought it would be fun to try some new products. I love the Hairspray, after I straighten my hair- I spritz some in my palms and lights apply it anywhere I'm prone to fly aways, and it instantly tames them. I LOATHE fly-aways lol and this makes it look like I have none :) The Leave in Protection by Herbal Essences is great to, it smells so good- and it leaves the ends of my hair very soft- and it can be used on dry, or damp hair.

Well that was my weekend haul :) Hope you enjoyed. I love how brands are releasing so many great products, that seem like they are great quality- Revlon has some new Photo Ready Primers, and I wouldn't mind trying one of them out.

Have a great week everyone <3

Drugstore Hauling :) And my Cherry Culture Order....

I finally did a little bit of shopping at Super Store and Wal-Mart. I picked up some hair care and some favourite items I needed to stock up on. I took a peak at some of the new Maybelline, Garnier & Revlon products to. I didn't get much makeup wise because I'm really content with my collection right now :) I love all the products I use, and I only buy things I really want to try, or need.

And after 2 months of waiting, my NYX items from Cherry Culture arrived. I cannot believe it took Cherry Culture that long to look into it. Turns out, they made a mistake and overlooked my payment- I wasn't ordering anything new, except for the Mega Shine Lipgloss in Baby Rose. I mostly wanted my NYX Black eyeshadow (not pictured) and Frosted Beige Lipgloss. I had to get the eyeshadow at a store near me anyway, since I got tired of waiting for it. Baby Rose is a really pretty gloss- its clear, with a bit of shine.

I got a ton of Herbal Essences products. They where all on sale, and I love the Herbal Essences Shampoo :) They actually work quite well for me. I also thought I would try the new 'Touchably Smooth' Serum and Mousse. I forgot just how well mousse tames fly-aways :) Ooh and the Got2B Guardian Angel Heat Protectant is soo good! I thought it would be a nice change from my TreSemme Heat Protect.

And you have to try the Vaseline Cocoa Moisturiser- it smells so yummy, and really moisturises well.

Last Month, I tried out the perfect 10 Hair Dye by Clairol and I just Love it! I use the shade in 'Lightest Blonde' and its the perfect shade of blonde- and it truly works in just 10 minutes. I overlooked this product for months, and wish I had tried it sooner.  I stocked up on my favourite Wet n' Wild brow pencils & I couldn't resist purchasing the cute Hello Kitty mini Loofah :) - I also cannot wait to try the Revlon Lip Butter I picked up. The shade is called Sugar Frosting, and it looks like the perfect nude/pink shade.

Hope you enjoyed. Its me and my boyfriends 1 year Anniversary next weekend! so I'm really excited to see what he has planned :) we're both hopeless, sappy romantics *puke* LOL :D I Love him so much, not to mention he looks like Taylor Lautner hehehe :)

NYX Haul With Swatches...

Hi Everyone-

One of my NYX Hauls from Cherry Culture arrived today- My other NYX haul I made in December has yet to arrive, and Cherry Culture sent out a new order for me last week luckily.

I picked up NYX's Blush in Taupe- I've heard that this is a great contouring colour. I'm getting a little tired of always using my MAC Refined Golden Bronzer, and I thought this would be a nice change. I can't wait to try it out.

I also got a back-up of the NYX Mega Shine Gloss in Sugar Pie :) Sugar Pie, and Frosted Beige (which is in my lost order) are my two Holy Grail Lipglosses. I thought I would try Pink Frost to, I have tried this once- and its a really pretty shade. Finally, I really wanted to test out the NYX Matte Lip Creams. They have great reviews on Makeupalley, and Youtube- Tokyo looks gorgeous, but a little brighter then expected- but I can tone it down with my OCC Lip Tar in Conquest, if need be. My camera picked up some very decent swatches of my lip products, but I could not get a decent swatch of the blush. I did some research. and found a Canon Camera from Amazon- and its great for taking close up photographs (according to the reviews) I think I'll be purchasing it- its very decently priced as well. The camera I have is better for scenic photo's. Anywho, enough of my rambling.

Enjoy the pictures below <3

Great Glam and DH Styles Haul + More!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Mine was fantastic. I didn't make it to Sally's Beauty Supply due to some random construction in the highway, but I plan on going soon. I did pick up some other hair styling products from the drugstore, that I'm actually VERY pleased with in regards to moisturising my hair, and getting rid of fly-aways :)

I picked up some Infusium 23 conditioner, and moisturising spray- and so far, it has been working so well!

I almost don't want to purchase any Moroccan Oil hair care, because these have been working so well. I have never tried this brand, and decided I would try it out- and I have not been disappointed.

I also purchased some mini bottles of shampoo and conditioner by Nexxus- I'm still testing them out :)

I like the idea they sell sample sized bottles of this before purchasing- I wish more brands would do this.

Since I didn't make it to Sally's- I decided to do some thrifting since I was in a larger city, and did I find some fabulous finds! I cannot believe how little the prices where. I picked up a Guess by Marciano Jacket for $10.00! as well as some other adorable shirts, and jackets- I only thrift once in awhile, and I forgot how much fun it is. I got about 10 items for $40 :) Last week, I even found a Zara Purse for $8.99- its so cute. Thrifting in a larger city is much more better, since there is more selection. I think I'll do some more shopping next week :P

Needless to say- I had a pretty great weekend.

On Friday, the items I ordered from Great Glam and DH Styles arrived. I love both these sites because since the items are shipped through USPS- I never have to pay a border fee, since they are shipped to my mail box. The Corset Belt I ordered from DH Styles is gorgeous, I purchased it in Size Small/Medium. Its still slightly to big for my waist, but it isn't to noticeable, or uncomfortable luckily.

This goes great with a lot of my longer shirts, which are my favourite style.

I also like the items I purchased from Great Glam- however the black shirt I picked out doesn't seem to fit correctly on my arms- there's way to much room, and it isn't as form fitting as I would like it to be- The purple shirt is gorgeous though. Since I had so much luck thrifting, I think I'll give Great Glam a break for awhile.

I have a few hauls arriving in the mail this week hopefully. Hope everyone has a great week :)

Review: Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner & Vita-K Blotchy Skin Moisturiser!

Firstly, I would like to thank all my new followers! it means so much to me <3 I don't have time to blog often, so I never thought I would get any readers- Thanks so much everyone!

A few months ago, I stumbled upon an amazing moisturiser. It was the Vita-K moisturiser for blotchy skin- it was on clearance for $5.00... and somehow, I misplaced it. about 2 weeks ago I found it and began using it. Its a really good product, it almost airbrushes your skin when applied- and removes any redness. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and perfect. I hate when moisturisers feel greasy, or to light. I use this during the day, and mixed with my night time cream as well. its perfect for any skin type, I find I don't wake up with my skin feeling oily when I mix this in with my night time cream.

So Argan Oil has been getting quite the buzz lately. I myself have decided to try out a few products that I have been researching. I'm going to Sally's Beauty Supply this Friday to try some of the One n' Only Argan oil hair products
Have any of you tired any products from this line? They have some pretty positive reviews on Makeupalley. I can't even believe this, but there has been a Sally's near my town for the last few years- and I just found out a few days ago when I was googling the website LOL :D I'm glad I found out, because I'll be saving on shipping costs, and time. I cannot wait to see what other items they carry. I also may try the Live Clean Argan Oil- I have the Live Clean Argan Oil styling creme, and its quite divine :)

Moving on- I have been using the Organix Argan Oil Conditioner, and I have mixed reviews on it. Maybe I should incorporate the Argan Oil Shampoo, or another Organix Shampoo (I wanted to try the Coconut Milk) .....

When applied to my hair, it does not lather- since its sulfate free. At first, this seemed and felt odd. Its almost like my hair didn't feel soft, like it does with my other conditioners. Anywho, I rinsed and styled my hair as usual (blow dry, and straighten, various products etc...) and I have to say- it slightly tamed my hair, but not much. Now my hair is never manageable the first day I wash it. The Second and Third day after washing, my hair gives me no troubles- and looks the way I want it to (to be clear, I shower everyday- I just don't wash my hair everyday) .... I guess I sort of expected this to really tame my hair, but it didn't- the scent is amazing though :) way better then my L'oreal Conditioner.

All in all, I'm not to impressed with this- but I will use if I purchase a Organix Shampoo. However, I feel like I'll have more luck with the One n' Only products.

I hope you found this review helpful! :) Any suggestions on what your favourite Argan Oil products are, please leave a comment.
