Camera Ready Cosmetics & All Cosmetics Wholesale Haul!

Hi Girlies!

I hope all of you have been doing well, I've been a bad Blogger lately- but I've just been busy. A few days ago, I recieved some hauls from CRC and ACW. I love both sites.

CRC carries cosmetics aimed towards the TV and Stage industry, and I wanted to try a few products out. Mainly since Summer is here, my skin has gotten very oily :-( I heard fabulous things about the Kryolan Anti-Shine Powder, and picked it up. Kryolan is a Makeup Company based in Germany, and they carry a variety of products. Its a very nice powder, it goes on Translucent- I have only tried it once since purchasing it, and I used it over my powder to help with mattifying my face for the day. I only wore my makeup for 2 hours that day, and had to take it off for bed- so I can't do a full review, but I plan to soon. I can say that it really does make your skin look beautifully airbrushed though :-)

The ' Tone ' OCC Lip Tar is also gorgeous! I just love it, it s beautiful baby pink color. I plan to purchase more OCC products- They last forever on your lips. I also think they have changed the formula, I own two other OCC Tars and they seem quite different in texture (and CRC no longer carries the 2 shades I own) .... I'm going to research the other colours and see how they compare. I really want to try the Clear Lip Tar, as apparently its meshes well with the Lip Tars that have colour (applying any gloss over a Lip Tar gets rid of their lasting power, I find anyway)

.......................

From ACW, I purchased the MAC 168 Brush- which is just amazing! I adore this brush for applying blush, it applies it so beautifully, and I feel like I finally found my HG blush Brush :-) and I have been looking for one for quite some time now. Its also really nice for contouring, but I like my MAC 131 Brush for that purpose, as severe contouring isn't my thing. The second product I got was the NARS Firming Foundation in Siberia  ....I still haven't tried it, as I have been in love my Estee Lauder Double Wear lately.

In other news, I have been walking on eggshells waiting for the newest MAC collection to arrive online in July- it will be a chance for me to stock up on the Volcanic Ash Exfoliator- something that was so amazing, and that my skin loved. When I ran out, I realised just how perfect it made my skin look. I managed to make one bottle last me a full year (as I only needed to use it twice a week) so I'll probably get 2 bottles this time :-)

Hope all of you have a great weekend!

XO

A Few Drugstore Purchases + a Review...

Happy Saturday everyone!

I normally never have spare time on the weekends, but my boyfriend started a new 3 day weekend shift at his job, and got a raise! so we have 4 days together now, as opposed to just two- which is so nice :-)

Anywho, I purchased a few drugstore items recently after wanting some retail therapy. Its days like that I'm happy there isn't a MAC counter nearby! haha. I purchased the Maybelline Cover Stick, which I used to use back in the day- The Revlon Airbrush Mousse Foundation (HORRIBLE!) and the Physician's Formula Mineral Wear powder (have yet to try- but the texture is great & reviews to!)

Here's some pictures:

The Maybelline Cover Stick is just as fabulous as it was when I was 17 =) The coverage is minimal, and it can be built up if needed. I love concealers over foundations any day.

This foundation is just horrible! I kept the receipt, but could not return it obviously. I spent $20 on this crap! I love most drugstore products, except for foundations- they never work, so I stick to Higher End brands, I learnt my lesson. I just wanted to give it a try out of curiosity- IDK why, because I know concealers work much better for me, oh well. The tester was another story- when I swatched this, I loved the coverage and texture. Weird :-(

I haven't tried this powder yet, but I could tell by swatching it that the texture is similar to my MAC Studio Fix, and the color is spot on. Luckily Superstore had testers. I cannot wait to try this out.

(Update- I tried this powder & its gorgeous! Its better then my MAC Studio Fix! I have finally found a Drugstore Dupe for Studio Fix :-) which is great because sometime I run out and don't feel like waiting for it to arrive in the mail)

So there's my little Drugstore Haul :-) I have hauls arriving from All Cosmetics Wholesale- I purchased a MAC Brush and a NARS foundation. I also purchased an OCC Lip Tar and Kryolan Anti-Shine powder from CRC Cosmetics. My skin has been very oily lately- and the Kryolan Powder has very positive reviews. I can't wait to post those for you. Other then that, I have been trying a new eyeshadow method that I love. I simply put one color all over the lid and crease, a highlight and my liner and lashes ;) it looks amazing with lots of colors, not all- but most. I was seriously strapped for time one day, and winged this idea, and it worked. it only takes 10 minutes to. I still love my dramatic looks, but it was time for a change.

Hope all of you have an awesome weekend!

XO
